Yaman Blues

Way too long between posts. That's what moving will do. In the interim, been having fun chipping away at the shoegaze 'box set,' especially with the post-shoegaze stuff. Then I got sidetracked, in a fun way, putting together a mixed bag playlist for summer fun and unpacking purposes, as well new car jamz (renamed and refreshing the 19 or so BIM playlists) -- everything from The Flamingos' 'I Only Have Eyes For You' to Miles Davis' 'Honky Tonk' to Nectarine No. 9 and Captain Beefheart to Jack Rose's 'Yaman Blues,' to name but a few, so, hopefully, slowly getting back in to the more recent (2013/2014) ambient experimental things. As well as some U2 and Bruce Springsteen. Probably. When life turns you upside down, or even sideways, you gotta love a comfort like music before you grew up and all your ideals were shattered.
