Wow! What a busy two months - april and may that is. This list of wants, gets and the like, has been accumulating since then. Youth soccer, some editing freelance work and other fatherly duties has kept me from listening to much of this. I've come to the realization too, that my lists are going to get shorter the more time goes by and the kids get more involved with activities. Time to focus on what's more crucial and not all the "maybes" to my particular taste in music.
Had the chance to catch Spiritualized in Detroit last month. What a show! The new stuff was great, but the surprise of the evening was a real powerful rendition of long forgotten Ladies & Gentlemen track, "Stay With Me." Only disappointed in the fact he couldn't play "Get What You Deserve."
Summer's here so thankfully release schedules should slow down for a few months and maybe I can catch up on organizing my music folders a bit. BIM reunion coming closer, still gotta make some playlists for that fun time, as well as the wedding playlists for August. Here's to keeping up a bit more regularly. The jams:
